Seasonal Contrast in the Garden #4

Seasonal Contrast in the - Gardens at Waters East

Postings in this ongoing series will show the same garden “area” and “objects” at two or more different times / seasons of the year.  The contrast will offer the viewer an appreciation of the beauty found in the same spot but in different months.  Some of the photos have never been seen before, others were collected from earlier postings in order to provide the needed contrast.  Each season has its own “feeling”, has its own  beauty.

Enjoy

Upper Walk - Winter

  2. Unbelievable those seasonal changes. We have the seasons in Central Otago. But it's dry dry dry here. So even with the cold there is rarely any snow at all. Every decade or two there may be something like in the pictures above. But some winters none at all.
    Love the upper walk photos.
I take a lot of photos. A lot ! And that library is so useful when composing a blog.

  4. It's so neat to see the same views during the different seasons. Almost like before and after but even better because it is in the present. I hope spring hits you soon. It is busting out all over here and making me most busy in my garden. That header photo garden is amazing.

  5. What a nice idea showing your walk changing with the seasons! Now it's almost time to add the missing picture... :)
From your photos I can see your garden spreading to the shore of Lake Michigan: it's wonderful!
