May - review 2012 #3

May is the gateway to the real Summer here along the shores of Lake Michigan.  With that in mind, here are some of the many bosoms that made their appearance this May in the Gardens at Waters East.  This is the “opening act” of the coming Summer of beauty and color.

The season is now well underway.  Let us sit back and enjoy what was and what is to be.  It is a time to appreciate the beauties of nature seen this May of 2012.

  4. Hello Jack.

It looks so lovely, your garden. Many of the flowers are the same as we have here in Denmark - almost the same climate I think.

At the moment it´s cold here and windy. Hope summer will come soon.

    Have a great day.

  8. What a pretty selection. I tried my luck in early Autumn planting a range of seeds more suited to your climate than mine, including centaurea and forget-me-not. It looks like only two types have survived so I will be very interested to see what they are in Spring.
