Want a Quickie? Today

Could not resist another "Quickie" so soon after the last one!

Today the clouds were awesome, adding to the beauty of Gardens at Waters East.  This is a good example of “borrowed views” mentioned in past postings on the Principles of Design.  The “borrowed” was not expected, which only adds to the momentary views.  Today being the first full day of Summer lots of things are in bloom, although most of the photos in today’s “Quickie” will highlight Lake Michigan and the clouds as they passed overhead.

(All “Quickies” are photos taken and posted the same day)
All photos were taken today at the Gardens at Waters East. - - June 21, 2012

  1. What a magnificent day! The gardens look spectacular. I do so love that top shot and the one with the lone poppy. Beautiful little vignettes.
