TO BEE or not TO BEE

To BEE or not to BEE
Is there even a question???

The bees have been having a “hay day” in the Gardens at Waters East.  Hundreds of them, all over the place, trying out this flower then that.  Finding what they truly like.  Walking through the garden rooms doesn’t seem to disturb them.  Not one tried any defense.  They all were into their “nectar mode”!  Even though thousands of eyes were watching, not one bee made a move to chase the photographer – that was good new!

The collection of bee photos this Summer is way too large to even contemplate posting.  Oh so many!  Here are a few that show what they have been up to the last three weeks in the Gardens at Waters East.

Enjoy and you won’t even get stung!

The Bees were on everything they loved!

  2. Wow, that's a lot of bees and many different types too. I love the way they buzz around going from flower to flower, I can be gardening in among them and as long as I go slowly they're really not bothered and they don't bother me either. I love watching them working.

  3. What a collection of bees you have there. Love the flowers and they're workings :) I have never had a problem with them and think they are really interesting insects to capture on camera. Enjoy your weather. Your gardens are always an inspiration to see. I hope to visit your place someday. My family in Wisconsin keeps me busy and I don't always get to venture out too far because of all the crazy get togethers. But hopefully one of these days down the road, I'll get to stop by. Hope you're having a great week.

  4. That is a lot of bees. I've been taking lots of pictures too, but almost all of my are bumblebees. I have quite a few nests in my yard. I love watching them, and I have never been stung by one. Wasps on the other hand....
