Take a Look at June 2013

“Will you take a look at June 2013!!!”
This June, the many garden rooms in the Gardens at Waters East finally started to “strut their stuff” and show their beauty.  It has been a long cold Winter and a long cool Spring but June proved worth the wait.  Here are never before seen photos taken during this month of June -- the sights on the property of GAWE.  Lots of action from weather fronts, and lots of color from sun loving perennial.
Enjoy your visit

  1. How clever of the spider to decorate your sculpture. At least my rabbits don't have the nerve to come up on my deck and eat my potted plants. Last year they got a lot of my little bean plants but I added a welded wire fence to the back of my new bed and hopefully they won't do it again this year. Nice Splish Splash, mine have seeded into clumps that are getting pretty big this year, but don't have the variegated flowers. Your plants seem to be behind mine, my irises, Forget-Me-Nots, and Anemones are done. Do you know which Phlox that is? I have divaricata but just starting to grow Prairie Phlox and it probably won't bloom until next year.

  2. Beautiful pictures. I like your nature anemone and phlox - we don't have phloxes in nature, and not this kind of anemone.

  3. I see you have full garden of blooming. I love your oriental poppy, very bright color. And tradescantia is of nice color, purple. Mine are blue only. How I love spires Grefsheim! Mine was not well blooming, the winter was too cold. Yours is in bloom, lovely!
