The Gardens This Morning 8.16.14

Here are a few photos taken this morning while walking around the Gardens at Waters East on the shores of Lake Michigan.  Thought you might like to see some of the plants that are blooming this time of the summer – some just getting started others nearing the end.  Soon after taking these photos it started to rain – and the rain is greatly needed – nice!

  2. Sometimes I think the light by the lake is different in some way -- kind of misty and magical. Your photos are stunning--especially the shot of the Pink Mallow. Lovely.

  3. I've never seen blooming yucca, very pretty flowers. All your garden plants look healthy and colorful. Great photos!
