A Year of Sunrises

Every morning brings a different day and a different sunrise.  Some are great, some are really awesome.  It is difficult to capture in photos the “feel” of a new day.  Some mornings radiate colors of the spectrum, some only shades of grey, but all are welcomed giving life another day for the Gardens at Waters East.

The following pictures are a collection of one photo from each of the months of the year.  So many more in the files, but this will have to do.

Wake up with the sunshine,  wake up with a smile!

  1. It has been a long time since I visited your blog. These photos are beautiful. This fall I had an opportunity to spend a weekend on Lake Michigan and witness several sunrises. I had forgotten how beautiful the lake really is...we are lucky to have it so close by.

  2. Great idea for a post! I'm usually not awake enough to capture the sunrises, but I'm amazed by our sunsets. Thanks for sharing your year of sunrises!

  4. Again one is struck by what a beautiful place it must be to live.

Incidentally, there is a mysterious entry in the Tree Following link box. It says 'Jack' but doesn't lead anywhere. Thinking it might be you I came to find your Honey Locust post for February (or a new tree to follow; some people changed with the New Year) but can't find it.

Has it vanished or was it not you who left the link? Stuck!
