StoneWater Beach 4th. Walk

The shore that runs along the property of Gardens at Waters East is known as StoneWater Beach.  Obviously that means – lots of stones, from small rocks to large boulders rest at the water’s edge.   Forms and textures of every kind make up the limestone, granite, fossils of various sizes.  A great place on a Great Lake to walk and past the day.

This posting is a very short “sample” of all the photos taken while walking the beach over the years.  Nice to have the lake so close.  Nice to be able to enjoy it so often.

Come along on a walk with me.

Enjoy

NOTE:   Since this Blog is meant to be an accurate journal of the gardens;

  2. Herzlichen Dank für deinen Kommentar.
    Wenn ich Blumen im Gegenlicht fotografiere, mache ich das am Nachmittag, wenn das Licht weicher ist. Dann bleiben die Konturen der Blüten besser erhalten.

  4. Lake Michigan is quite exotic to me, so different from my garden in Northern Sweden. Your pictures are real beautiful.

    Have a nice day.
