StoneWater Beach 6th Walk

The shore that runs along the property of Gardens at Waters East is known as StoneWater Beach.  Obviously that means – lots of stones, from small rocks to large boulders rest at the water’s edge.   Forms and textures of every kind make up the limestone, granite, and fossils of various sizes.  A great place on a Great Lake to walk and past the day.

This posting is a very short “sample” of all the photos taken while walking the beach over the years.  Nice to have the lake so close.  Nice to be able to enjoy it so often.

Come along on a walk with me.
 Enjoy

Want a "Quickie" ? PART TWO 1.26.16 with sun

“Quickies”

(All “Quickies” are photos taken and posted the same day)
These photos were taken later today at the Gardens at Waters East. - - 1.26.16
After the sun came out this afternoon – seemed like a good time to take more photos!  It is interesting that with the white of the snow and the grey of the clouds and that of Lake Michigan – even with the sun shining – many of the photos look like they are black & white snap-shots.
So here now is PART TWO of this day of Quickies!
Enjoy

Part Two - Looking Up

Part Two – Looking Up
Have you ever wondered what the plants out in your garden “think” as they look up to the sky and sun?  Standing there tall – taking it all in – enjoying the moment – enjoying the day.
Well let us stand in their shoes (make that dirt) and look for ourselves.  A meditation on beauty.
Enjoy these blooms from the garden
