Day Lilies - July 2021

Here are a few of the many day lilies blooming in the Gardens at Waters East, located on the shores of Lake Michigan.  So many, so very many now blooming this month of July!

All of them are very special since they exist nowhere else on Earth.  They were all "created" hybridized here at the gardens.  In a future posting,  I will post others that were gifts to the garden from friend – they too are very pretty.  You will see!

Hope to post more of these in the future, so many living here.

  1. Oh so beautiful! My daylilies are meh this summer. I don't know why. It has been exceptionally dry and consistently hot here in the Madison area most of the summer; maybe that's why. Could be because my shady garden leafed out early with a warm spring--not enough sun for the daylilies? Anyway, thanks for sharing yours; they are special!
