Seasonal Contrast in the Garden #7

Seasonal Contrast in the - Gardens at Waters East

Postings in this ongoing series will show the same garden “area” and “objects” at two or more different times / seasons of the year.  The contrast will offer the viewer an appreciation of the beauty found in the same spot but in different months.  Some of the photos have never been seen before, others were collected from earlier postings in order to provide the needed contrast.  Each season has its own “feeling”, has its own  beauty.

 Late July

 Late Fall

NOTE:  All photos use in this posting were taken on the property of Gardens at Waters East.

NOTE:   Since this Blog is meant to be an accurate journal of the gardens;
no photos are “staged”, “arranged”, or ”photo-shopped” in anyway.
What is posted – is what it here.  It is what it is.

  1. A very cool timeline and always something to look at during any time of the year. The early Summer photo is my personal favorite.

  2. I don't know whether you are lucky or not to have such distinct seasons, we don't really get that here. The snow shot is so beautiful.

  3. It is very interesting to see the same place, in different seasons.
The garden but also the sky, the clouds, change at any time.
Tomorrow my son comes back from Detroit. He told me that it is very cold, with wind and snow.

  4. As usual, beautiful! The daylilys in my mom's bed are coming up! Hopefully some pictures of blooms before we return to WI!

  5. These were fascinating! What interesting perspective, although I must admit, I find no beauty in January.
The gardens in spring summer and fall are gorgeous!

  6. Very interesting pictures, it's nice to see same place in different seasons. All of them are beautiful, but especially the fall picture.

  7. Fascinating photos, seeing the same place through the year. Lovely!

  8. Nice timeline. A garden is meant to be enjoyed as it changes thoughout the seasons and you have shown that well.

  9. Que lugar tan bello,yo guardo en mi memoria horizontes y espacios de mi viaje por Estados unidos com un tesoro que la vida me regaló!
    Un abrazo

  10. The photos are so pretty as well as their subject, I think I will do my very own seasonal contrast garden photo.
