Sunrises are always so very beautiful even on days that are not perfect.  There is something about waking up to see the new day.  Here are photos capturing one day in the life of a new morning – taken at the end of August 2022.

Wanted to check out the Autumn colors in the garden so took a quick walk around on some of the paths at the Gardens at Waters East.  Here are the colors of today.

One Singular Sensation - Hibiscus

One Singular Sensation - - Take a look at just one plant here at the Gardens at Waters East, the Hibiscus.  This is the variety known as “Hawaiian Punch”.  Looking in closely; lots of interesting detail on these photo taken recently.

This Hibiscus is not winter hardy here in Zone 4 – 5

so it was just brought into the house

and now resides in the home’s Sunroom.

Nice place to be if I may say so myself.

Morning Clouds

Got up early one July morning, even before the sun was fully out.  Thought these photos of the clouds over Lake Michigan at the Gardens at Waters East set a “mood” for the morning. Different from the normal sunrises that are posted here on the blog.
