It was not that many months ago
that everyone was tired of the cold and snow, and doing lots of complaining. Well after the triple digit temperatures
last week, a reminder of the recent cold Winter is a welcomed change from the
present heat. However, just think,
in six months it will all be here again!
Then we will wish for the heat.
Such is the fickle state of the human mind. These photos were taken exactly six months ago at the Gardens at Waters East. They should satisfy the need to beat
the heat.
NOTE: All photos use in this
posting were taken on the property of Gardens
at Waters East
unless
otherwise marked.
NOTE: Since this Blog is meant to be an
accurate journal of the gardens;
no photos are
“staged”, “arranged”, or ”photo-shopped” in anyway.
What is posted
– is what it here. It is what it
is.

ReplyDeleteAlso here in the Netherlands it is very hot. Should like to take a dive in the snow, haha.
ReplyDeleteI do not long for the snow. I love the summerheat :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of the snow.
Beautiful to see and your garden looks so different from winter to summer.
ReplyDeleteWas just thinking about you today; are the daylilies blooming yet? I have buds on four of the five from your garden; can't wait! Will e-mail later!

It's an interesting post! Yes, we complained about the cold six months ago, and then complaining about the heat wave, now. In a way, it may be a good thing to have four seasons!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marit. No complaints about the heat from me! The winter photos are fun, though.
ReplyDeleteThe sight of the snow is cooling me down. I don't think I was reading your blog back then. Love the arch.
ReplyDeleteBrrr!
ReplyDeleteHey, JC! Thank you for visiting my blog. You really have wonderful photos here on your blog. Very beautiful. Nature is amazing even in the cold winter!
ReplyDeleteI wish you a wonderful day. See you! / Rozie
hello JC and thank you for visiting my blog with such nice comments : )
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this post ... love seeing these pictures of old man winter at his finest too! .. YES !!! I think gardeners are so reliant on weather conditions that we are one of the most sensitive to it's changes through the seasons .. I was just taking some pictures of the "susans" and thinking that this is the time of the Black Eyed Susans .. August & September are almost here and then hopefully we will capture some beautiful Fall colours to have that final warmth of colour.
You are in a wonderful area .. the views are gorgeous !
Joy : )
Keep losing your e-mail; have pictures of two of your 'babies' to share!

Deine Winterbilder kommen genau richtig. Wir erwarten morgen bis 40 Grad. Das ist für Deutschland sehr ungewöhnlich. Ich werde mich beim Anblick deiner Schneebilder abkühlen.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos but right now I prefer summer with sun and warmth ;)! In case I get too much sun I take a look to your pictures to cool down...;)!
