the lake – Lake Michigan – which
stretches along the acres of the Gardens
at Waters East. The lake
brings so much to the gardens in the Summer, Winter and all the seasons of the
year.

the Ojibwa Indian word mishigami – meaning large lake.

FACT: BREADTH: 118 miles / 190
km.
FACT: The region is often referred to as the
"Third Coast"
of the United States, after those of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.
