Arrived home yesterday
from two months in Guatemala volunteering – temperatures were in the 80s
there. Got up this morning
to this – 32F and a hard blowing blizzard. Good to get back to the gardens before this arrived – yet –
might have been even nicer to wait a few more day to return from the wonderful
temperatures in Guatemala.

Here are photos from the garden
this morning. Windy, snow, cold, -
but nice to be home after a long time away.

That must be quite a shock to the system. The snow did result in beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Jack. The view from your cottage in Guatemala looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHope the snow in your garden will make room for flowers soon.
Happy Easter!

Thank you for the Kind words in my blog, Jack. I see your garden is still under the snow, but don't despair, Spring can't be that far away. For me those snow pictures are a delight, since we had the mildest winter since record here.
ReplyDeleteMay you have an Happy Easter!

Ya, it's the opposite conditions, isn't it? We had ice and about an inch of snow here in Madison. It's all melted now, but the ice was a drag. Fortunately not much wind, so the damage was minimal. March in Wisconsin, I guess. I'll look forward to more coverage about your trip to Guatemala!
ReplyDeleteOh, Jack you're back from hottest weather to cold climate. But seeing you own garden and waiting for spring is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA startling contrast. What a difference a day makes!
