On one recent sunny day this past Autumn, took a long slow walk in the Ryan Park area near Gardens at Waters East. It is a nature preserve about five miles from the gardens. As you will see; lots of beautiful trees, trails, hills, leaves of color and birds migrating as the season changes. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
You are welcome to come along.
Enjoy
Very interesting mushroom growing on on tree.
Snake hiding in the leaves.
That abandoned car shell stands out the best for me!
ReplyDeleteIn many ways I do agree. A surprise to come upon it on m y hike!
DeleteWonderful autumnal impressions and and so nice the discovery with the woodpecker, I'm always very happy when i see one.

There were many when I would walk the campus trails while at the university this past year in Madison. Here there are a few when I go out into the woods.
DeleteWow, that is beautiful. I'll have to check it out next time we're up that way.
ReplyDeleteIf you get up this way Beth, let me know. Really are so many places to get out into nature.
DeleteFotos muy representativas del otoño, buen reportaje.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Yes true it is. This is October in Wisconsin - very beautiful with so many different colors.
DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy all the pictures, beautiful nature. It is very similar to how it lokes here
We haven´t got any snow yet , which is a bit unusual. The woodpecker is a visiter in my garden too, among the small birds, as the blue tit, sparrow and other. I do feed them as they get harder to find something to eat.
Have a lovely day /Marika
One of these days I will post some of the many many birds that visit the garden throughout the year - lots! Here we are on the migratory flight route to Canada in Spring and back to Central America come Autumn.
DeleteI love the snake:)
ReplyDeleteYou and me both!
DeleteMa, l'auto abbandonata incredibile! Sembra messa li apposta! Però è un bellissimo autunno! Da goderselo :D
ReplyDeleteUn abbraccio :)
I am sure it was put there by an area farm. But I do think it was a nice "sculpture" to stumble upon!
DeleteHow did I miss that park? More for the bucket list!
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice hilly walk about two miles.
DeleteWunderschöne Bilder. Ich liebe den Herbst mit seinen kräftigen Farben.
ReplyDeleteGruß Anette
