What would Valentine’s Day be like without some RED?
A celebration of RED from
the Gardens at Waters East.
There are so many shades of red
as you well know, here are a few from a variety of blossoms, leaves, and more
found in the gardens during the seasons.
Hope this brightens up your day.
And, if you don’t get flowers as a gift on Thursday, think of this as a gift
to you.

LOVE that locus red!!! :) Happy Mardi Gras!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! They made my day! Thank you for your message at my blog the other day. You're a very wise man. I am going through some really tough times at work at the moment, and your words made me think. Today I tried to see those angry people with other eyes, and to think that thay are really hurt made it easier. So thanks again! I wish you a lovely Valentine's day!
ReplyDeleteIsn't is amazing how many shades of red there are and how they all look different in photos? Thanks for the photos. Hope you have a great Valentine's Day!!

Greetings from Spain.

ReplyDeleteHave a nice day/Hans
Lovely pictures. Lots of red flowers and plants. The nature there looks a little like here in Finland.
ReplyDeleteGreat red ... hephaestion.
ReplyDeleteBut in my opinion the best red is on the Engleman Ivy.
Are you sure that "Privet berries" are privet and not Berberis ottawensis?
T.A. from Greece
My goodness you have a little bit of "red-rything" in here and it made me grin at such variety! .. I have Engleman ivy at both ends of the lattice work of our deck and it does glow an impressive red burgundy in Autumn.
ReplyDeleteLove all the different flowers and shrubs .. fantastic mix for a Valentine's fix ! haha
Joy : )
PS !! I forgot to say wow ! on the sky pictures .. I haven't seen our skies in "colour" for so long I forgot how wonderful they could look but yours reminded me of that : )
