StoneWater Beach - 2nd. Walk

The shore that runs along the property of Gardens at Waters East is known as StoneWater Beach.  Obviously that means – lots of stones, from small rocks to large boulders that rest at the water’s edge.   Forms and textures of every kind make up the limestone, granite, fossils of various sizes.  A great place on a Great Lake to walk and past the day.

This posting is a very short “sample” of all the photos taken while walking the beach over the years.  Nice to have the lake so close.  Nice to be able to enjoy it so often.

Special Note:  This is the beach where all the stones were collected by the Guatemalan artist – Rivera,  and made into a special sculpture “Reborn” for the Gardens at Waters East.  If you want to check it out, that sculpture was posted recently on the Blog on July 16, 2014.

Come along on a walk with me.

Enjoy

NOTE:   Since this Blog is meant to be an accurate journal of the gardens;
no photos are “staged”, “arranged”, or ”photo-shopped” in anyway.
What is posted – is what it here.  It is what it is.
