Everything is Beautiful
You may remember, or at one time
or another, may have heard the song from many years back that stated: “Everything is beautiful in its own way”,
and “beauty lies in the eyes of the
beholder”. It was written by
Ray Stevens.
That song sings through my brain
some days when walking StoneWater Beach
at the Gardens at Waters East. Looking down while hiking along, one
can find a million different stones, plants, many pieces of driftwood, living
and yes dying or even dead objects that grab attention.
This posting is “looking with a different eye” to see
what is often passed by as one hikes along the shore. Some may find beauty in everything posted today, others may
find that that is not the case.
However for the sake of the song, here is what was found on recent walks.
Maybe the photos will bring
moments of reflection to your mind that even surprises you - - as they did me. The challenge is to see the beauty in
the natural.
NOTE: All photos use in this
posting were taken on the property of Gardens
at Waters East
unless
otherwise marked.
NOTE: Since this Blog is meant to be an
accurate journal of the gardens;
no photos are
“staged”, “arranged”, or ”photo-shopped” in anyway.
What is posted
– is what it here. It is what it
is.

a message or share photos of your garden

Everything is beautiful; so very true. Even rusty objects and bones have a beauty hard to define. Stay warm this weekend, what a difference a few hours makes!
ReplyDeleteYou're right indeed Jack, beauty is everywhere. I like your photo #5, flying seeds - very pretty! You're lucky to live in such nice place, seeing the lake, its treasures, nature.
Anette
That picture of the pebbles with holes in it looks like a recent query in The New Scientist. What is it?
ReplyDeleteBeauty is all around us :) But we must open the eyes.
ReplyDeleteWalking in Cape Point nature reserve we saw one of those plastic fish.
ReplyDeleteDisconcertingly real to look at! We handed it in for proper disposal. I hate to think of some poor sea creature eating another chunk of our plastic waste.
But all the rest - yes - beauty.
