Over the last few months, I have taken a number of walks down area paths and trails. In time I started to look even more closely than normal at the trees along the way. There are so many textures of bark on trees, fascinating. I wonder why the trees have developed their particular forms of the bark. What is the reason for all the variations? Do you know the names of the trees in this post?
Here are a few, there will be many more in the months ahead.
Do enjoy the walk.
Ein sehr interessanter Post, der zeigt, dass sich das genaue Hinschauen lohnt.

Glad you enjoyed. Trees are very interning indeed. And yes, looking closer at things around us gives one a deeper appreciation of Earth and all that it has.
DeleteFascinating images. Tree bark is so unique to each species and so beautiful .
ReplyDeleteI do agree. There are many more types in the area that I hope to post in the months ahead. Always glad to see your visits!
DeleteHello there ! Your blog has magnificent photos !
ReplyDeleteI am such a tree lover, I pack as many as I can in my gardens. I have always felt a connection to trees. I have watched a lot of documentaries that prove there is some kind of communication and certainly connectiveness of trees and the plants that surround them ... I love different bark .. I have to admit the peeling type is especially interesting me. Autumn is my favorite time of year and yes it is because of the stunning show of leaf colour, so beautiful ! ... I have neglected my blog terribly because we have two new kittens in the house and I was so preoccupied with them .. I will have os much work to do in the Spring for clean up it is scary. Long way around how to follow my blog right ? LOL ... I have no clue at the moment, I'm sorry !
NO need to apologize, glad you were able to find time to visit once again. You will have even more to do when Spring comes again, so now it is time for the kittens! I hope to post many more tree bark and nature trails soon. I love hiking the many miles of trails here at the University of Wisconsin in Madison Wisconsin. Until next time just enjoy thee day.
