Arizona Visitors
This week my sister and her husband from Phoenix Arizona came to visit (and no doubt get away from the “Heat Dome” happening in the western USA). Every day for weeks now 110F. + way too hot for humans!!
They were the first to see the new garden pond we have. Designing and digging it in the last two weeks took hours of work. The depth of it and the fitting of the pond mold was lots of work. More of that in a future posting.
Here is a first look at it. Still have many plants to position in the right places. This is a hint of what it will look like.
Here are a few photos from today at the gardens.
So many more taken today but will post them at another time.
So much blooming at this time of year. The work of years is paying off.
False Indigo
The Peony is my favorite, but these are all so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly make a statement - can not miss them!
DeleteOh how fun! It's looking great, and all the plants/flowers and landscaping around the pond are beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteA little more work on the new pond - more plants to come. Always happy when you take the time to visit.

DeleteAll flowers look so gorgeous. Siberian iris is so unique looking
ReplyDeleteThere are four different varieties here, and I think some of them have mutated!
