"Quickies" of this morning’s snow – JANUARY 15, 2011
(All "Quickies" are photos taken and posted the same day)
These photos were taken just today at the Gardens at Waters East. The snow from overnight softens the edges of so many things in the garden – looks nice. In close up detail or long distance shots, snow does wonders for the garden and all its parts.
Though all gardeners look forward to warmer days and the “digging in the dirt” that is the growing season; Winter has its own beauty not to be missed. It is good to pause and appreciate with a sense of wonder, the Winter beauty that these days bring to heart and mind. Never fight it. Embrace it. A gift given just for today. It has a beauty. It tells a story. Enjoy

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! is amazing how the snow changes everything.
ReplyDeleteWe don't see snow like that here, but even just a few inches sure does make the garden pretty. I enjoyed going back and looking at more of your gardens. I've just started adding Daylilies in my garden and I look forward to learning more about them here.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me what the half circles are in the first picture? Very interesting.
