“Quickies” of JANUARY 21, 2011
(All “Quickies” are photos taken and posted the same day)
These photos were taken just today at Gardens at Waters East. It is really cold today. Took these photos at 6:30 AM with a temperature of minus 7 F. and a windchill of minus 25 - 30 F. Too cold to stay outdoors too long! The "steam" is rising up over 300 feet into the cold air. Looks pretty, but give me a break.
Can not wait for Spring to come, none too soon!

Hi, Jack--Just looking at those photos makes me cold! There is a certain beauty with winter, and it makes us appreciate the spring even more. Thank you for sharing your blog!
ReplyDeleteAaaagh. That looks cold. But so so beautiful. 25 degrees centigrade here in the southern summer. (77F)
ReplyDeleteHi - thanks for visiting my blog. I like yours too. I love the snowy photos, just like here in Sweden....

I looked to see if you are on the list but couldn't see it. (On the other hand, I'm not very good with alphabetical lists!)
I think there are many garden bloggers there who would be interested in Gardens at Waters East.
