One of many walks taken on the nature trails at the University of Wisconsin. Always great views and things to discover, even “fellow” trail walkers out enjoying the day.
There will be many more postings of the trails and views and trees and flowers in the days and weeks ahead.
Enjoy this snapshot of nature at UWM
Something extra for you today. Ran out yesterday to take some of what little snow is left on trails here in the Lakeshore Nature Preserve at the university. These are extras for Daniel - a Blog follower, who enjoys hiking trails but cannot get out to walk like he use too.
Gorgeous, serene views....ahhh. 🙂ReplyDelete
It is pretty nice here! Views of the lakes are great and the trails are interesting.Delete
Beautiful images. Those trails looks so inviting .ReplyDelete
There are so many miles of trails not only here at the university preserve, but all around the areas of this city really nice for hiking.Delete
It is a great city, with great hiking opportunities, isn't it? Happy March and almost spring!ReplyDelete
Indeed it is!Delete
This is a special place. I love it. Today I spent the afternoon art the Chazen Art Center then the Historical Society, very interesting old structure. This town is so alive!!!ReplyDelete
Bonito paseo fotográfico, estos senderos nos suelen dar gratas sorpresas.ReplyDelete
Jesus you are correct. Every time I take a hike on any of the many trails in this area, I am surprised by so many things new and old discoveries; plants and flowers new to me, different type of trees, animals and birds I discover, so much always to discover. Hiking out-doors is a very good relaxing experience for my "soul".ReplyDelete
There is always something beautiful and interesting when walking in nature.ReplyDelete
Wonderful looks. How beautiful are the mushrooms.
I have dozens of mushroom photos taken this past summer and autumn. They will be posted in the weeks ahead. Some are unusual, had not seen before.Delete
Un paseo de los que gusta dar y disfrutarlos. La naturaleza siempre nos sorprende. Preciosas fotos.ReplyDelete
Buen fin de semana.
I try walking every day, even when it has snowed. Walking is a meditation for me. My mind and spirit becomes so very relaxed - I figure that is healthy! With all that is happening in the world today - it is my way of looking for good when so much seems so bad. Hugs to you.Delete
Hello, it's lovely to meet new garden bloggers, especially in these sad days.ReplyDelete
Your garden and the lake view look fabulous. I live near a lake too but our lake is a small pond when compared to yours. :)
Stay safe and well!
I too like meeting new gardeners. I often look through garden blogs that show-up while I am working on mine and I find interesting blogs, like yours that I enjoy reading. True, the lake here is enormous about 75 miles wide and 300 plus miles long, like an ocean!Delete
Thanks! It is not me - it is the area I live in - beautiful place mom Earth.Delete
Oh, I would have loved to walk that trail!ReplyDelete
Do you know what I like about hiking in North America besides feeling like an explorer finding unknown plants and animals? The toilets, even on the trails!
Yes, a great place to visit and explore.Delete
Yes yes yes! If not along the forest trails at least at the beginning of the trails. The trails in this posting are all along the university nature preserve so there are even university buildings not to far from the trails - nice facilities jaja!ReplyDelete
Thanks for visiting my blog. My sister lives in Madison and we enjoy visiting. UIt is a nice city, especially the farmers market around the capitol.ReplyDelete
Madison is great, so much to do and so alive with young people.Delete
What lovely nature trails! I enjoyed walking with you. I love the places I can become one with nature. The mushroom looks like a flower.ReplyDelete
You are always welcome to "walk with me" on any of the many trails I post! You are correct - you become one with nature. That mushroom is very interesting and the first time I saw that variety.Delete
Beautiful photos. I espeially like the view from Picnic Point. Thanks for your kind comments on my blog!ReplyDelete
You are most welcome. I agree, Picnic Point has some beautiful views.Delete
You are welcome. Picnic Point is a great place to sit and reflect. It sticks way out into the lake.ReplyDelete
Me encantan las rutas de senderismo y estas son muy bonitas. Gracias y besos.ReplyDelete
