This past weekend took a number of photos of the Autumn colors in the garden and in the nearby area. The colors were some of the best that I have seen in many years. Stopped at an apple orchard and mentioned that observation to the owner who has lived in the area for many years and she mentioned the same thing. “More colors and for a longer duration than has happened in years.” Nice to know that I wasn’t the only one that thought it is a special year for Autumn colors here.
Do enjoy some of the photos from this week. Because I used a cellphone and that is not the best camera, keep in mind that photos do not show total reality since they have about 15 percent less accuracy and clarity than the human eye. Even with that, the colors here now are pretty fantastic.
Lets start from Gardens at Waters East
then move on down the roads to the surrounding countryside.
Ending back for the evening in the Asian Patio
for an Autumn final view on a foggy early evening.
Hoping you enjoyed some of the photos from this week. You have taken so many beautiful photos from your area. The Autumn colors are fantastic, but as you say the end is near! The winter is coming...
ReplyDeleteI posted some Autum photos on my blog this week with some snow up on the hill. I don't want snow right now...
The weather forecast says light snow in a day or two. The end is near!!!!
DeleteThe autumn colours are just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYes they are. So much better this years than a number of the past years. Love the colors!
DeleteWonderful photos. It looks like the color up there is similar to our stage here near Madison. We didn't have the quality of fall color that we've had some years because the drought and autumn heat seemed to have staggered the foliage show a bit. But it was still lovely. Happy (almost) Halloween!
ReplyDeleteThree weeks ago when it was so dry there wasn't much to the colors here, but over the last weeks we have had so much rain, almost every other day and inch plus each time. The colors seem to pop, really nice.
DeleteWonderful photos, I love the autumn colors.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Germany
Anke
Me too !!!
DeleteBonitas imágenes, con esos colores ocres tan atractivos.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Jesus, It really is a beautiful time of year here but soon the snow will be here - maybe even this afternoon! then the leaves will all be gone!
DeleteGorgeous colours and photos! When the gardens and landscapes are so beautiful and the autumn colours so spectacular, even a cell phone camera reaches wonderful results.
ReplyDeleteHere the end has already come. :) We have about 10 cm of snow, in other areas of the country there's even much more.
Happy November!
Yes for now the cell phone. For Christmas I think I will purchase a "real" camera that will make things even nicer.
DeleteHello , :=) I'm trying again as I was prevented from writing more in my first attempt to comment. The trees are incredibly beautiful at this time of year and I think your cell phone did a magnificent job of capturing their beauty. Thank you for all the lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteAll the best
Sonjia.
Sonia, The camera did OK, but I am going to buy a "real camera" for myself for Christmas! Should be even better pictures.
DeleteGreat photo's of those fall colors .
ReplyDeleteIt is a special time of year - lots of colors!
DeleteAh! Just wonderful colors. A grand finale before...
ReplyDeleteYes the Grand Finale! Snow on the ground this week.
DeleteGracias por tanta belleza.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
I. appreciate your comment but I owe it all to the natural beauty of nature. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly beautiful autumn colors!
ReplyDelete"even at the cemetery colors are beautiful", well, you're right. Fall is impresionant if trees are deciduous. Nice images... In my town all the most of indigenous trees aren´t deciduous, so i can't see these impresionant landscapes.
ReplyDeleteSe ven bonitos los colores del otoño. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThe colors for a few weeks are beautiful - then the end comes and soon the snow! Glad you enjoyed the colors here.
DeleteVery beautiful photos, Jack! I love them all: the sky, the field, the forest, the tree near your house... I would like to paint there with watercolors.
ReplyDeleteNadezda, anytime you are in the area you are most welcome to come and do some watercolors. Even in the dead of winter there are enough interesting trees, rocks, the lake and the clouds to give you great subject matter for painting. Glad you enjoys the colors of Autumn here at the Gardens. Now don't forget, just give me a call!!!
DeleteYour fall captures are beautiful...each and every one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your words. It is really a beautiful time of year here in the Midwest.
