THE END IS. NEAR !!!!!

This past weekend took a number of photos of the Autumn colors in the garden and in the nearby area.  The colors were some of the best that I have seen in many years.  Stopped at an apple orchard and mentioned that observation to the owner who has lived in the area for many years and she mentioned the same thing. “More colors and for a longer duration than has happened in years.”  Nice to know that I wasn’t the only one that thought it is a special year for Autumn colors here.

Do enjoy some of the photos from this week.  Because I used a cellphone and that is not the best camera, keep in mind that photos do not show total reality since they have about 15 percent less accuracy and clarity than the human eye. Even with that, the colors here now are pretty fantastic.

Lets start from Gardens at Waters East

then move on down the roads to the surrounding countryside.

Hoping you enjoyed some of the photos from this week.  Because I used a cellphone and that is not the best camera, keep in mind that photos do not show total reality since they have about 15 percent less accuracy and clarity than the human eye. 1. You have taken so many beautiful photos from your area. The Autumn colors are fantastic, but as you say the end is near! The winter is coming...
I posted some Autum photos on my blog this week with some snow up on the hill. I don't want snow right now...

  3. Wonderful photos. It looks like the color up there is similar to our stage here near Madison. We didn't have the quality of fall color that we've had some years because the drought and autumn heat seemed to have staggered the foliage show a bit. But it was still lovely. Happy (almost) Halloween!

    1. Three weeks ago when it was so dry there wasn't much to the colors here, but over the last weeks we have had so much rain, almost every other day and inch plus each time. The colors seem to pop, really nice.

  6. Gorgeous colours and photos! When the gardens and landscapes are so beautiful and the autumn colours so spectacular, even a cell phone camera reaches wonderful results.
Here the end has already come. :) We have about 10 cm of snow, in other areas of the country there's even much more.
    Happy November!

    1. Yes for now the cell phone. For Christmas I think I will purchase a "real" camera that will make things even nicer.

  7. Hello , :=) I'm trying again as I was prevented from writing more in my first attempt to comment. The trees are incredibly beautiful at this time of year and I think your cell phone did a magnificent job of capturing their beauty. Thank you for all the lovely photos.
    All the best

  12. "even at the cemetery colors are beautiful", well, you're right. Fall is impresionant if trees are deciduous. Nice images... In my town all the most of indigenous trees aren´t deciduous, so i can't see these impresionant landscapes.

    1. Nadezda, anytime you are in the area you are most welcome to come and do some watercolors. Even in the dead of winter there are enough interesting trees, rocks, the lake and the clouds to give you great subject matter for painting. Glad you enjoys the colors of Autumn here at the Gardens. Now don't forget, just give me a call!!!
