BLOG SHOTS #154

Each month Gardens at Waters East (GAWE) will post a few never before seen photos of “garden life” called - - BLOG SHOTS.  Here are the photos for this posting. The photos posted today were taken during the summer and more recently January and February of 2023. I think the dates will be obvious – some are warm and the others – well enough of the cold.

    1. I too like seeing photos of the Lake Michigan here. It is like an ocean, can not see the other side which is 60 miles across at this point and the waves are sometimes enormous. Feels like an ocean, but only one of the five Great Lakes here.

    1. I carried those ship artifacts from the beach, a little more work than I thought it would be. However I am happy they are in the garden. They "honor" this very place on Earth.

    1. That is not the sea, only my lake at the gardens. Lake Michigan is enormous but even Lake Superior just north of my state is even bigger. Plenty of water here in the midwest! Glad you were able to visit.

    1. Happy you enjoyed the photos of the gardens here. Those that you thought were sunset photos are really sunrise photos. that is Lake Michigan that you see in the photos. Gardens at Waters East sits along the Western shore of that Great Lake. I agree, It is beautiful.
