Snow Squalls

Lest we forget, winter snow does happen even at this late date!  This is from recent walks on the area trails. Three days this past week had blizzard like snow squalls, but each time it only lasted on the ground for a day. At times, too cold to take out the camera so only a few photos of the trails this posting.

                                                                      Let's begin our walk.

ice still on the marsh bay

I think the Robin was thinking "what is happening"!

                                                                    one of my favorite trees

                                    I say "enough already"!

  2. I understand very well that you do not want snow in the end of March. Here the snow do not want to leave my garden. In next week the temperatures will be very cold again. I want spring!

    1. We may "suffer" here in the north, but when Spring and Sumer come - we are the envy of the Earth!

  3. From your beautiful photos I can see that spring has not yet arrived where you live.

    1. I tried to put a video up on the posting - but it was too long so it did not work. The snow squalls had gigantic flakes.

  5. Those spring snows can be pretty, as your pictures show, but I also vote for warmer days and green grass by now.

  8. Your snow certainly does look beautiful. We have been threatened with some sleet over night, but I doubt it will be more than a flurry. However, like you, I crave the return of spring! Thank you for commenting on my 'stars'!

    1. I do agree, it does embellish the landscape, but I would be happy if it finally stopped for the winter and we got into Spring!

  12. Bonitas fotografías, por aquí también bajaron las temperaturas y los árboles y flores sufren con las bajadas, se estaban acostumbrando al buen tiempo. Besos.

  13. Hello, :=) Your snow photos are beautiful, but that is the only thing I like about snow, how lovely it looks in pictures. I'm happy that we don't get very cold conditions or snow. I hope it won't last long for you to enjoy some warmth and your lovely garden.
    All the best.
